Not a remarkable image other than this quince being in full bloom on Feb. 2 in 66 degree temperature. This is generally the coldest part of Memphis' winter.

Anyone who has been around Memphis for a few years has some memories of Anderton's Restaurant on Madison. I was fortunate to acquire the "s" in East at a Memphis Heritage auction

Nineteenth Century Club

Nineteenth Century Club (3), a photo by joespake on Flickr.

The Nineteenth Century Club Mansion at 1433 Union Avenue, Midtown Memphis, is for sale.

Sitting among commercial properties on Union Avenue, the stately and historic building has shown signs of neglect for years. It is the last of the fine mansions that once lined Union Ave.

Hopefully someone with vision and resources will buy and restore this historic landmark.

That Way, a photo by joespake on Flickr.

One of these stacks on Florida Street seemed to be directing me north. Maybe a subtle reminder to drop in at Deja Vu restaurant, just up the street.
